Beer Festivals Around The World

Beer is the third most-consumed drink in the world. Of course, there are many reasons for that. Beer is just more than a drink; we associate many things with beer and other things connected with beer. It has been one of our favorite drinks for at least 10,000 years.Beer gives us a strong community sense, friendship and increases healthy social relations. It also gives us an accessible 3rd space, bars. One of the best actions to bring all these flavors together and burst them is to join a beer festivals! Beyond tasting delicious beers from both big players in the industry and craft breweries, it is a one-of-a-kind emotional experience.

Pubinno provides end-to-end technology for you to have a perfect beer experience by building the Internet of Beer. As the Future of Draft Beer, we would like to introduce you to the festivals that take place all over the world and consume thousands of liters of draft beer.

Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is the first festival that every beer-lover can think of when it comes to beer festivals. With an astonishing 6.6 trillion liters of beer consumption, it is the biggest player of the game for sure. It has taken place in Munich since the early 1800s, and it is more than a beer festival; it is also a German folk festival. It offers you a unique experience of both beer and German culture. Although there are many Oktoberfests all across Germany and the World in recent years, Munich’s Oktoberfest is the most popular one. Oktoberfest is not only the meeting point of consumers but also brewers from all over the World. They all try to have their spot to meet with the beer-lovers to serve their best beer

Qingdao International Beer Festival

Qingdao, also known for its beer brand Tsingtao, is home to the biggest beer festival in Asia. The Beer Festival has been celebrated since 1991 and happens during Summer. Beer is getting increasingly popular in China; it is now the biggest beer market in the World. What makes it more interesting is that 90% of the Chinese beer market is local. Which makes the Qingdao Beer Festival even more attractive. Also, this festival occurs in a special park called Golden Beach Beer City, with many tourist attractions built around beer culture. It is a must-visit festival to have a global vision for beer and try out unique far-eastern beers.

Oregon Brewers Festival

Celebrated in Portland since 1988, the aim of this festival is to promote craft beer. Portland, a.k.a Beervana, has a lot to offer for craft beer lovers at this festival. Although it is not as big as its counterparts, it is set with a mission that brings you the flavors that you have never tasted before in a beer. So, it is a more niche festival if it is the proper term. Founder Art Larrens says, “They’re looking for what’s new, what’s not in the store.” Also, it distinguishes itself from other beer festivals by underlining that it is a brewer’s festival.

Woman on Tap

Woman on Tap was launched in 2017. It has a great and ambitious mission, celebrating and remembering the embedded relation between beer brewing and women. Unfortunately, the beer industry is heavily male-dominated, and Woman On Tap wants to create a space for women. Beer brewing was a women’s duty until the mid-1500s as a part of housework until beer started to sell outside homes. As beer began to be a commercialized commodity, patriarchy exiled women from industry, and now Woman On Tap wants to put a stop to this to run the show in balance and spark the conversation.

Pilsner Fest Pilsen

Czechia is one of the cultural bedrocks of beer, and Pilsner is the most popular lager type. The combination of the two is incredible. It is the best place and time to have an unfiltered, unpasteurized Pilsner beer in the atmosphere of Bohemia. Although it is smaller than the Czech Beer Festival, it is a better option to see the range of lager beers. With its specialized brewers, it is an excellent opportunity to taste the king of lagers.

What is the common point of all these festivals? The vast majority of the beer consumed in these festivals is draft beer. There are many reasons for this, but the main reason is freshness. If draft beer has the ideal pressure and temperature, it is impossible not to taste the difference. The question is, how could it have been guaranteed? That’s where Pubinno Smart Tab kicks in. Pubinno Smart Tab regulates the pressure, temperature and checks the freshness of your keg to reach the perfect draft beer experience.

Further, trillions of liters of beer are consumed during these festivals, and almost 20% of the beer is wasted in traditional tap systems. Pubinno Smart Tap not only maximizes the taste and fun but also minimizes the trillions of liters of waste. So, festivals could be enjoyable while also being environmentally friendly with Pubinno technologies.

Additionally, One Love Festival

Istanbul is one of the most vibrant and colorful cities in the world. What makes it even more enjoyable is its dynamic concert scene. The best part is that it is powered by Pubinno. So, you know that your beer glass is perfectly poured by Smart Tap every time.
