Production Engineer

Now we’re looking for a “Production Engineer” to join our Hardware Team as a leading disruptor in the bar tech landscape, as recognized by CB Insights and many more.

Here’s what you will be doing:

General:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to both production and quality control teams.

  • Work alongside design engineers to ensure new products are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements in manufacturing and quality control.

Production:

 

  • Collaborate with production team members to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify production bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.

  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance enhancement.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of new production technologies and equipment.

  • Planning:

  • Maintain close contact with suppliers to align component deliveries with project timelines.

  • Identify and engage reliable suppliers, managing these critical relationships effectively.

Quality Control:

  • Design and administer quality control plans and checks throughout production stages.

  • Perform inspections and tests on materials and products to uphold quality standards.

  • Analyze quality data to detect trends and repetitive issues, providing solutions to avoid future problems.

  • Keep quality control documentation thoroughly and consistently updated.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineer or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a production or quality control engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in creating and reading gd&t technical drawing

  • Understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and quality control methodologies.

  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Proficient in using quality control and inspection equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Experience in component sourcing

  • Experience in supplier relationship management
